First Lady Deal to host 13th Annual Easter Egg Hunt
February 27, 2015
First Lady of Georgia Sandra Deal will host the 13th annual Easter egg hunt at the Georgia Governor’s Mansion on Saturday, March 28, from 10 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Activities will include photos with the Governor, the First Lady and the Easter Bunny, cupcake and egg decorating stations, face painting, a story book station, Clifford the Big Red Dog, the Easter egg roll, a moonwalk, a herd of Chick-fil-la cows, and, of course, the Easter egg hunt!
Guests attending this year’s Easter egg hunt are asked to donate a book or stuffed animal to benefit the Governor’s Office for Children and Families. This office serves Georgia by working with communities throughout the state to ensure that our children and families are educated, healthy and safe. Donations will go directly to children in need statewide.
Families wishing to attend must RSVP by e-mail only to firstname.lastname@example.org beginning Monday, March 9, at 8:00 a.m. We will not be accepting reservations via phone. Reservations will be accepted and spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis until we reach capacity. We respectfully ask for one family per request. Please submit your request by filling out and returning the following information in the specified order:
1. Names of adults attending
2. Telephone number of the main contact for your party
3. Number and age of each child who wish to participate in the Easter egg hunt
*Please remember to bring an Easter egg basket to collect eggs.
The Mansion gates will open to only registered guests at 9:30 a.m., and guests will enter using the main security gate.
